Icon painting courses

Painting icons on wood

From time to time, our parish holds courses in Byzantine icon painting for adults and children, in the building of the Catholic Church of St. Katharina.

The icon painter Ruxandra Lăcătuș, from Bucharest, who has taught courses here before, will come back for further sessions of Byzantine icon painting.

Depending on availability, participants can join one of the daily sessions:

• 13:00–17:00

• 17:00–21:00

The course is for beginners and advanced painters alike.

For more details and to register, please contact Ruxandra Lăcătuș directly by email at [email protected] or on WhatsApp: +40 722 554 279.

We will announce the date of the next course on the parish website as soon as it is set.
